The Champ Of Sports
Talk
is a witty, innovative, and insightful look into the world of sports.
Hosted by "The Champ", he makes phonecalls to his “Champamaniacs”
across the nation, and they talk about the top headlines of the
day of Football, Basketball, and Baseball, and give intelligent
analysis. The show, with segments such as “Word ‘Round
The League”, "What are you smoking?", "People
That Are Champish" and "The Hall Of Shame" has been
a dynasty in the making for over 2 years.
Spending years searching for a solution to working for "The
Man", The Champ went on a hunt for real answers. The Champ
also was working heavily in the music industry as a business manager
and producer, but still was not comfortable in his destiny. Then,
in late 2005, The Champ was given a vision for the greatest sports
talk show in existence, and to bring the fans of the world NOTHING
BUT THE TRUTH! The lightbulb turned on, and The Champ immediately
created his own internet radio station to house the show.
Unfortunately, due to a lack of financial resources and manpower,
the show was forced into an early offseason and stayed off the air
until recently in 2007. Champ rejuvenated the show and enlisted
a crew of fellow sports fans across the nation that assist him in
talking the talk every show.
In addition to the unique humor and wit, the Champ has created
his own lingo, and “Champish Law” which serves as a
guideline of “Champish Behaviors”, which lays the basis
of our expectations of our sports heroes as sports fans. Players
and things that are are aligned with Champish Law, are referred
to as "Champish" and those that are not are "un-Champish".
He also refers to other mainstream sports talk shows and personalities
as "Brand X", which describes them as bland, and lacking
greatness.
The Champ Of Sports Talk plans on growing into the go-to place
for all sports news and talk, and hopes to one day have the show
syndicated, and/or picked up by a sponsor, or major media affiliate.
No longer do the sports fans have to settle for the boring journalistic
approach to sports talk, The Movement is back, and its real. Now,
twice a week there is a new 90-120 minute installment of the show,
chat rooms, forums and much much more, available here on www.thechampofsportstalk.com. |
